Clay Toothpaste
Our formula contains bentonite clay, filtered water, cold-pressed unrefined raw coconut oil, Celtic salt, a little baking soda & some peppermint essential oil (for taste & benefits!).
Different flavors will be available - will have Peppermint, Vanilla, Orange, Cinnamon.
We DON'T USE METAL when we are measuring & mixing as coming into contact with metal surfaces will alter the effectiveness of the bentonite clay.
We do not use xylitol in our formula and that is ONLY because we have had toothpaste scares with our own dogs in our home and we can live without the Xylitol! Xylitol is a great addition if you're trying to correct your oral health, but you can get your fill from most chewing gums! You can also purchase it separately to use in addition to this paste.
To use: We simply dip the brush into the mixture & then brush away! Some people (us included) dip into the clay paste & then will still use a dab of their choice of store brand toothpaste, which you may want to consider until you get used to the consistency, which is slightly different than toothpaste.
